Welcome Jinx to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 19-month-old Great Dane/Greyhound is our best guess. He is very sweet. He weighs about 70 pounds but is tall and lean. He loves men and is friendly with strangers. He knows sit, good on a leash and good in a kennel. His owner went into hospice and can no longer care for Jinx. Jinx is looking for his forever home. This is a fantastic dog and some lucky family will have a great companion. He appears to be potty trained. He goes in his outside kennel. He doesn’t jump up and is decent on a leash. He knows his name and is very attentive. He loves men naturally but accepts all people. He isn’t too wiggly so he would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. This is a larger dog but he has a wonderful temperament so you will not have to worry with other people or anything. He would be fine going to any social place and strangers petting him without permission. He is lower shedding and not over the top. He is good with other dogs and would be a great companion if you liked to walk, hike or jog. He is an amazing dog and we are fortunate to be looking for his forever home. He is neutered, healthy and ready for his forever home. Anyone who likes a large dog will love this boy. He is not timid like the great danes but is long and larger like one. He will be a head turner anywhere you take him. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200.
