To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Woody is a 1 yo male German shepherd mix dog who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Friendly, sweet temperament, a little tentative at first with new people and situations, typical shepherd temperament. Woody is selective about his dog friends and would probably enjoy being the only dog. He’s friendly and non-aggressive with the cats on the other side of the fence. Fine with kids and recommended for dog savvy children 10 years and older. Medium energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house. Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with his people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. When he first came to us, Woody had heartworms, but he was treated without complications and cured and is now ready for adoption. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 45 pounds. AWESOME young GSD mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family who loves the breed.
