Davi UpdateY’all.This boy is an absolute GEM.Davi is SO loving and has the best little manners. He’s doing great with my other pups and fits right in.He originally came in with Bobby, but I can confidently say he is independent and secure — he’s not relying on a bond here at all.It’s wild how different he is outside of boarding.Yesterday? He looked completely terrified.Last night and today? Head high. Tail wagging. Confident. Just doing his thing.He slept all night curled up on a pillow beside me in my bedAnd when he wants to be picked up? He simply walks up and asks like a polite little king.We’ve even discovered he “talks” — and it is adorable.Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. We do not have a physical location of our own.
