Meet Andes!Andes is a lovable playful boy who does good with other dogs. He’s not great about sharing toys but he doesn’t fight over them. He knows how to do a little dance (video included) when he wants attention. He also loves everyone especially my son. He’s learned to drop his toys in the little trash can by the couch so you have to get it out and throw it for him. He’s still not a fan of being picked up but my son did get to pick him up for about a minute before he was over it. !Andes did get to meet some of my son’s cats and didn’t attack them but he doesn’t really get boundaries either. He seemed to want to play but they ran away once he got up close to themHe is a 3 year old, 13 pounds smooth coat chi mixAvailable dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. We do not have a physical location of our own.
