We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. We DO NOT have a physical shelter. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it. Meet Tater, a 3-month-old double dapple dachshund with a big personality in a bite-sized package! Tater is deaf, but don’t worry, he’s already learning that hands can talk and he’s one smart little spud! He loves food, toys, zoomies, puppy wrestling, cuddles, and naps so impressive they deserve their own cooking show. He’s also a professional dachshund follower and would LOVE a friendly dog sibling to show him the ropes, play with him, and help him feel safe. Tater needs a secure fenced yard, a family who will protect his sensitive eyes from bright sun, and someone patient enough to keep working on his puppy skills. Potty training is still baking… and his belly band skills? Let’s just say he’s mastered the great potato escape. He doesn’t like being alone and wants to be wherever his people and pups are. So if you’ve been looking for a sweet little couch potato with a side of zoomies, Tater may just be your perfect tot! Warning: May cause excessive smiling, puppy kisses, and an uncontrollable craving for dachshunds. Tater is a LOCAL to SF adoption until he finishes his vaccinations as well as his neuter. He does require a fenced yard since he is deaf. His foster mom is teaching him sign language for training. My adoption fee help with my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, dental if needed for retained baby teeth and microchipping.
