Finley has a sensitive soul and a tendency to bolt when scared, so a securely fenced yard and a steady, patient owner are essential. He’s just learning that indoor life, comfort, and love are good things, and having a calm, stable home with routine will help him thrive. Finley is almost two, fearful of leashes and car rides, but he’s making progress with gentle patience. He’s crate-trained, enjoys treats, and responds best in a predictable environment. Meeting new people can be intimidating at first, but with time and consistency, he blossoms into a sweet, loyal companion. How do I act when I first meet new people? When meeting new people, Finley can be very shy and shut down at first. In a familiar, predictable environment, however, he begins to relax and warm up—often becoming friendly within about a week.
