Female Dog, Poodle (Miniature)
Poodle (Miniature) (Long Coat)
Description:
Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home. Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families. Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today. We'll update as more information is known. Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days? If so please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and complete the application. You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side. You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available. Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes? Please drop a note to [email protected] with your name, address and phone # and email. We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team Date into Rescue: 3/20/2025 Reason for being in rescue: Bella was surrendered by her owners to a SC shelter. Carolina Poodle Rescue pulled her from the shelter. Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Bella is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Bella is incontinent, controlled with incurin. She takes one incurin per day. The cost is .83 cents per day at 1800petmeds. Incurin (estriol) Tablets 1 mg 30 ct | 1800PetMeds. In the future, it is possible that she could be switched to proin. We have not tried that yet as the incurin is working. Weight: 17 lbs Height: 12 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $1 I am priceless Fence needed? No. While Bella enjoys her current fenced in yard, it is not a necessity for her happiness. She would be just as happy with leash walks as long as her guardian walks with her. What kind of home would be best for me? Say hello to Bella, a curious, adventurous, and friendly little lady who’s ready to find her forever home. Bella is adaptable and would be happy in either an apartment or house. She’s not picky about her adopter—whether you’re a single person, a couple, or a family, Bella just wants to be loved and have someone by her side most of the time. If adopted into a family, she would do best with older children who can respect her space and avoid sudden movements or loud noises. Bella is an affectionate and inquisitive dog who gets along well with other dogs and is fine with cats, as long as they’re accepting of her. Bella would make a wonderful addition to any home. If you have the time and love to give, she’ll be your loyal companion, brightening your life with her sweet nature. Bella is patiently waiting to meet her perfect adopter. What is my personality like? Bella was surrendered by her owners to a South Carolina shelter. At 8 years young, her family felt she was "getting too old" and required more trips to the bathroom than they were prepared to provide. It turns out, Bella has a medical issue. She is incontinent, controlled with a daily medicine called incurin. While Bella does enjoy her walks, she can pull on the leash when something catches her attention. She doesn’t know all her basic commands yet, but at 8 years old, she’s still more than capable of learning new things. Spending time teaching her will not only help her grow but will also strengthen the bond you share. At her small size, Bella is the perfect companion to take along on your outings. Whether you're heading to the drugstore, an outdoor café, or the coffee shop, she’ll be right by your side, happy to join in on the fun. And don’t forget to treat her to a pup cup at the end of your adventure—she’ll love it! We think 8 is the perfect middle age for a beautiful poodle girl. Bella is on the lookout for a loving family or individual to share her days of exploration, relaxation, and plenty of affection. How do I act when I first meet new people? Bella is always happy to meet new people but isn’t overly excited when first introduced. She’s calm and friendly, taking her time to get to know you. Other tips and tidbits: Bella was born on or about 3/20/2017. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina. To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR.
