Description:
Fill out an Adoption ApplicationHandsome Coal… We saved this sweet soul hours before he was to be euthanized in a rural shelter. He had come in as an emaciated stray several months earlier. We took him right to the vet and he is now neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, chipped and being treated for heartworms. He received a six month Proheart so will not need hw preventatives until June. This sweet boy is under 50lbs, between 1-2 years old, and now has a new love of indoor living. He is safe and sound with our friends at boarding but would benefit from a foster home or forever home to help achieve becoming the best doggy version of himself. He loves the female dogs at daycare and spent the weekend with a small male dog where he had no problems. He may need proper intros to males his size who want to be alpha. He is rather indifferent to larger males so small dogs or females will be a better match currently. Coal is a quiet, sweet boy who is grateful for a second chance to find his forever home.
