Lulu is available to meet in person at The Potter League in Middletown, RI! Age: Approx. 5 - 6 years (as of 04/18/23) Weight: 92 lbs (as of 06/16/23) Location: RI Lulu is available for adoption to Massachusetts residents, as well as those in the other New England states. This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Say Hi to Lulu! This extra sweet girl is curious, loves meeting new people, and playing fetch. We aren’t sure of the breed of this beautiful girl but are thinking she is a Shepherd mix. We are sure you will fall in love with Lulu! Lulu is friendly with all adults and is gentle with kids she meets on her walks. Her foster mom says, " she has done a great job when kids ask to pet her. She very quickly flops over for belly rubs and think she would be okay with older kids." She does tend to jump out of excitement and don’t recommend her for a home with young children. She tends to bark at dogs passing by her house or while on walks but has been much improving in this area. Although Lulu is looking to be the only pet in the home her foster mom says she is an absolute dream around the house! She's very chill during the day after her morning walk. She usually naps in the same room as her foster mom, or she will go to her crate to have some alone time. She is a great work from home companion. She is housetrained and crate trained and has shown great improvement with her leash skills. She worked with a private trainer to help her when seeing other dogs on leash and she has made great strides. She would prefer to walk in an quiet area without other dogs. She is a smart girl that is food motivated and absolutely loves learning new tricks. A fenced yard would be ideal so she could run and play safely, but if that's not available she will need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area.
