Meet Toddy! Birthday: November 19, 2024 This handsome young pup has it all—brains, charm, and a playful spirit! Toddy recently visited the groomer at Hug a Bubbas (off Hwy 30) and was such a gentleman that they invited him back with enthusiasm. Toddy is a social butterfly—he loves his toys, playing fetch, all of his dog friends, and every person he meets, young or old. He walks well on leash and is a very smart boy who is eager to please. He picks up on training quickly and, with the right home, will easily adjust to life as the perfect house pet. Like many youngsters, Toddy is an active chewer, so he’ll need gentle guidance on what’s okay to chew. He has a strong prey drive—while he might learn to coexist with adult cats given training and patience, he should not be placed in a home with small pets like rabbits or guinea pigs. Car rides are still a work in progress for Toddy. With vet guidance, he’s practicing positive experiences in the car to overcome his nerves and occasional motion sickness. With time and patience, he’s expected to outgrow this challenge. Toddy would thrive in a home with people who can match his playful energy, provide structure, and give him plenty of love and fun.
