Description:

ADOPTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT! Hello world, my name is Sophie. I ended up at the dog pound as a stray. I am approximately 10 months old and weigh in at 37 lbs.I might get to be apx 40 pounds. I am a very shy girl. I was not treated well, so I need to learn people aren't as scary, as the ones I met. I also had a clogged salivary gland, but that has now been taken care of. That may have been from trauma to the face. Possibly from my last owner. Now it's time for me to find a new home. I love to play with other dogs. My foster mom says I am a sweet smart girl, but very shy. I have bonded nicely to my foster family. I need to be socialized and meet people with treats. Treats always help us hurt dogs to heal. I will be a work in progress, for a patient person. I am house and crate trained. They have decided I am some kind of a terrier mix, possible mixed with a border collie. I have a thin frame and head with stand up ears. Foster mom thinks I have a boxer personality. Because I am so shy, no small children please. I will require a fenced yard, because I need to run freely and have fun. I would love to have another dog to play with. That would make me feel confident, to have a dog buddy. Would your dog like to have a friend. I don't take up much space If you think I might be the girl for you, please fill out an online application! Because Sophie is so shy, no small children and a relatively quiet home if possible. If interested, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here: adoption application For anyone viewing this on Petfinder, if you are interested in adopting this animal you will need to go to our www.rosesrescue.net to fill out the online adoption application. You can usually find more pictures of the animals there too. Click on our name "Roses Rescue" in blue above to be taken directly to our website.
