Meet Merlin! If your ideal dog is the stay at home, watch TV, and relax all day kind of dog, Merlin is your man! At around 45 lbs and 5 years old this beagle mix fella is the most handsome introvert, and while he doesn't enjoy going out in public to show off his good looks he's happy to share all the love and affection with the people he trusts in the safety of his home. Merlin would excel in a home with structure and routine without a lot of excitement. He does extremely well with cats and other dogs, and has learned alot about "how to dog" from his canine friends in his foster home. Merlin has some mild vision impairment which is more apparent at night, but he has no issues navigating to his comfort places, the outdoors, or finding his people. In true introvert style Merlin takes a little longer to adapt to change, but with patience and understanding he will make a wonderful companion to the right family. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
