Male Dog, German Shepherd Dog

German Shepherd Dog (Medium Coat)

Description:

Meet Ike! This handsome and energetic 2-year-old German Shepherd has a heart of gold and a zest for life. Rescued from the streets, Ike has blossomed into a stunning pup with a coat that gleams with health and vitality, thanks to some tender care and attention. He's mastered the art of crate and potty training and is quite the clever fellow, knowing a few commands already. Ike's playful nature shines through during playtime, where he delights in chasing his toys and engaging in fun activities. His love for baths has transformed him into a fresh-smelling companion who is always ready for cuddles on the couch. Ike's affectionate demeanor extends to children, making him a wonderful family companion. Although he prefers to be the sole pet in the household, Ike's protective instincts add a layer of security, as he diligently alerts you to any potential visitors with his watchful bark. Everyone who meets him falls in love with his sweet nature and puppy-like energy. With a little extra exercise and training, Ike's potential shines even brighter, as evidenced by a recent pet behavior assessment. With the right guidance and care, Ike is ready to become the loyal and loving companion you've been searching for. Adoption fee is $250. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
