Meet Gertrude! This three-year-old pocket bully was sadly dumped on the streets along with several other dogs, but she hasn’t let that dim her sweet spirit. At 43 pounds, she’s the perfect “just right” size—big enough for snuggles but not too big for couch cuddles. Gertrude is as loving as they come! She adores pets, cuddles, and being close to her people. She’s wonderful with kids and does well with most dogs, making her a great family companion. She’s also a smart girl who knows how to sit on leash, is crate trained, and potty trained. While Gertrude isn’t a fan of cats or other small animals, she’ll shower her human family with endless love and loyalty. She’s just waiting for her forever home to see how amazing she truly is. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
