She prefers to initiate cuddling, but is fine if you pick her up to have a snuggle session. She walks on a leash, but typical sheltie, at times likes to zigzag. Jeanie loves to run in a fenced-in yard because she has energy to burn. She does react to unexpected loud noises and her first instinct is to run, so for these reasons, she will need a fenced yard.
