Cody is part of a litter whose mom is a Schipperke/Pomeranian mix, Cody weighs around 12 pounds currently and should stay pretty small. The dad is not known but mom was a Schipperke/pomeranian weighing 12 pounds. They were born 8/18/23. They have been neutered and had three distemper/parvo shots plus lepto, Bordetella, a one year rabies, and have been microchipped. They are wormed and on flea and heartworm meds. Cody would like another dog in the home because he enjoys playing with dogs so much. Thinking about a new puppy….. things to keep in mind: Puppy will need time, training, love and connection, mixed in with a load of attention. Best if children are school age or older; we will consider younger children only on exception basis. Puppies have small bladders and need to have someone to let them out regularly for potty breaks…..work from home, work part-time, come home at lunch…..need a plan as they will need you every 4 to 5 hours until they are at least 6 to 8 months old. Will your current pet be willing to accept a new puppy. Puppies can be a handful. Will you be traveling extensively for the next couple of months? Puppy proofing your home is like baby proofing you home; it requires effort. Puppies can go to their new homes from 8 weeks, but holding on a little longer and letting them go around 12 weeks can be really beneficial, as their development and socializing will be a lot more established by that point.
