Description:
LADY is long and low and simply gorgeous. She's a basset hound/beagle type mix, about 18 months old and fully grown at 32 pounds. She is an absolutely delightful girl who loves everyone she meets. She was a family pet who was surrendered through no fault of her own, her family was moving and couldn't take her along. Lady lived with kids, is dog friendly and ignores the cat in her foster home. She's confident and playful. She loves to run and romp and play and needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep her from following her nose into trouble. Lady is housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet Lady, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Lady at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
