Male Dog, Beagle

Beagle / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

HAROLD is one of the happiest chaps you'll ever want to meet. Cheerful, friendly, affectionate, playful and HANDSOME -- HAROLD is the total package. He's a young mixed breed boy, about 1 year old and fully grown at 43 lbs. He looks like a dog who was photoshopped together -- a sweet beagle face, perfect smoky eyeliner, flippy floppy ears that catch every breeze and a medium length coat with German Shepherd coloring down his back. Harold loves to fetch toys and balls but doesn't quite get the concept of bringing them back yet. He's a fool for treats and takes direction well. He's very friendly with other dogs. Harold is best suited to a home with another playful dog and a physically fenced yard where he will have room to run and play. If you'd like to meet Harold, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Harold at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate, if he's still available. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
