Do you believe in love at first sight? CECIL will make you a believer! He's a happy chappy sweetheart of a beagle boy looking for a new home. It's impossible to have a bad day with this sweet face around. Cecil is about 7 years old and currently 32 pounds. Cecil loves everyone, is fine with other dogs and has a beautiful beagle singing voice. We simply cannot say enough good things about this delightful boy. He needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. If you'd like to meet Cecil, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Cecil at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate, if he's still available. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
