Online Adoption Application › Introducing Miss Mango. This lovely Bichon girl came to DASH with 2 other Bichons after having lived her whole life in a shed. She was not socialized at all and very shy. she has been in a foster home now for almost 2 years and has come a long way, but is still a shy girl. She loves to be in the same room with her foster mom just chillin, or loves being outside in the fenced in back yard. She gets along with other dogs in the foster home, but isn't really a player with the dogs or toys. She likes her space and is content to be in a soft doggie bed or a crate, which she sees as her safe place. She is not a lap dog. She does allow her foster mom to pick her up to brush her and will allow pets when there is cheese involved. She does really well at the groomers as well. She just really needs her forever home to know she is still a work in progress, and will need continued patience as she learns that the world is not a big bad scary place and there are people who love her. This girl is so sweet and we have seen glimpses of a funny, loving doggo. She is ready for her forever and ever home.
