Online Adoption Application › We cannot believe this handsome Plott Hound is still at DASH. If you are looking for a pup who loves to be active then you must meet Elton! Play ball with him, and you will be friends for life! He has been trained on the basic commands at the DASH Prison Training program. He is a young Plott Hound mix who has a beautiful brindle coat. He is housebroken and gets along well with other dogs and humans. However, he does not like to share his food or toys. He has not been tested with children or cats so a proper introduction is in order. He lives to play and has a lot of energy to burn. Elton is a social lad and does well in crowds. However, due to his hyperactivity and excitement, he does tend to jump on people. Nothing a regular exercise regiment couldn't fix. Of course the training program is working on this with Elton. Elton is the most affectionate dog you will ever meet and is eagerly waiting for his forever home. Because he is a vocal dog, an apartment or condo would not be an ideal home for him. He also likes to bark at passing cars as if he wants to go for a ride. He will require a good, tall fence as he is a climber. Please don't let his outgoing personality keep you from making this guy your own. We know the perfect home awaits Elton.
