A507895Approximately 7 months old, neutered maleThis canine was relinquished to the shelter, along with his brother, by his previous owner, presenting with demodex mange, a non-contagious condition to humans, as well as skin and ear infections in both ears. Prior to shelter admission, it appears the animal was subjected to dye or coloring, resulting in blue skin discoloration. The shelter has administered medicated baths to treat his skin condition, successfully clearing his ears and resolving his skin infection. The dye has also been fully removed.Prospective adopters must commit to continuing his shampoo baths and veterinary care.This boy's hair has grown back nicely. Overall, he has exhibited typical energetic puppy behavior, still in the teething stage, and will require sturdy teething toys. He is also food motivated.Adoption hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00-3:30, and Saturday, 8:00-11:30. Meet-and-greets are mandatory for households with existing dogs or children. Additionally, renters must obtain permission from their leasing office or landlord to ensure compliance with any applicable pet restrictions.
