I was found as a stray, and after further investigation the rescue learned that I had been on my own for at least a year. I ended up sleeping outside of an apartment complex and that is where I found a kind human that I finally trusted. I was then taken to the rescue where I have been loved and adored by all the volunteers! They claim that I am gentle, and mind mannered. Most of all I love to be close to any human. I do well with dogs but prefer a laid back dog over a high strung one! I would likely do well with kids, and do not need a fenced yard. I am super sweet and can't wait to meet you!! I think I might be a boxer mix! To see more animals for adoption, please visit the CARA Website Our adoption fees are: Dogs: $250 Cats: $95 Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100 Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100 All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease. Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment).
