She may be a big girl (around 60 lbs), but she’s the ultimate couch potato! Kelly prefers napping over playing and has a very calm demeanor—she’s happy to lounge the day away and enjoys relaxing in a cozy spot.Kelly is timid but very sweet, and once she feels comfortable, she’ll happily soak up attention from her people. She’s extremely tolerant, even with children, and has been around people of all ages, including babies. She does well with other calm dogs who won’t pester her, but she would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. She walks beautifully on a leash with no pulling at all, making her a dream walking companion. While she enjoys being outside, she only truly loves it when it’s warm and sunny—her foster calls it “Kelly weather” (80°F and sunny is her ideal day).In the house, Kelly is fully housebroken and never has accidents. She prefers not to be kenneled when alone but is happy finding her own quiet place to rest. During storms or fireworks, she may get a little anxious, but she just wants to snuggle up next to you for comfort.Kelly is an easy-going, low-energy girl looking for a calm and loving home where she can enjoy plenty of naps and warm sunshine.
