Female Dog, Great Dane
Great Dane / Neapolitan Mastiff / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Hello World! My name is Bunny – can you guess why?!?!? I am a baby great dane mixed with mastiff and Husky with a little Pittie. Foster Mom calls me a land shark because I try to chew EVERYTHING! When I first came to Great Dane Friends, I had some really fun days but then I started feeling kinda icky in my belly and I had to go see the doctor. They said I had something called Parvo. Foster Mom looked really worried, but then they got me some magic medicine and it helped me feel so much better. Now, I’m just a wild little girl learning all about things. I like to play wild with my foster sister – don’t tell her but I saw us in a mirror and I’m about as big as her now – and my foster brother. He’s a big dane boy but I just climb on top of him and pin him to the couch. His name is Chauncey and Foster Mom says he’s looking for a forever family too. There are so many things for a puppy like me to learn. I’m trying reeeeeally hard to learn to potty outside, but when a girl’s got to go – I gotta go – and sometimes Foster Mom isn’t paying close enough attention. I try to get as close to the back door as I can though, so she knows I tried. I’m also trying not to chew on things I shouldn’t, but there is such a long list of things I’m not allowed to have my mouth on – who knew puppy life was so complex! And guess what – Foster Mom taught me this thing called “Sit” which means I put my rear on the floor and she dispenses treats to me. It’s amazing! I just do it now even when she doesn’t ask and I either get a treat or she tells me what a good Bunny I am and gives me lots of pets. Lastly, here’s the details: – Up-to-date on vaccines – Not spayed yet ‘cuz I’m a baby, but my forever family will need to sign a spay contract. Good with other dogs who liked to be chewed on and can be patient with me. I met some cats and they seem to be pretty cool! I even like giving them sweet kisses. I’m being fostered in Asheville, NC. If interested in adopting, you can email us at [email protected] for an application. A fenced in yard is required so she has a safe spot to run, zoom and hop *****Great Dane Friends of Ruff Love covers NC and surrounding states for adoptions. We require a fenced yard (exceptions made on a case by case basis - NO exceptions for puppies or deaf/vision impaired dogs - no invisible fencing), that stairs in the home be covered with some sort of slip resistant material to prevent injury, that all other animals in the home be up to date on vaccinations as well as spayed/neutered and that all dogs live inside as a part of the family. Our approval process consists of an application, vet and reference checks, phone interview and house check. Please email us for an application or if you have any questions.*****
