Female Dog, Bluetick Coonhound
Bluetick Coonhound (Short Coat)
Description:
Online Adoption Application ›Meet Myla Myla is a beautiful Bluetick Coonhound rescued in September 2024 from Cumberland County Shelter in Fayetteville, NC, where she was on the euthanasia list. Myla is an enthusiastic, smart, and affectionate hound who loves to communicate her excitement with her bay. She is highly food-motivated, enjoys learning, and does best with structure and enrichment. She is not aggressive but does have some behavioral sensitivities, including frustration with barriers and noise sensitivity. She is actively working with the NC State Behavioral Medicine team and has completed a board-and-train at Green Beagle Lodge. All professional reports can be shared. Myla loves other dogs, lives well with a small dog, was respectful of a free-roam indoor bunny, and tested indifferent to cats at the shelter. She has a sensitive stomach and eats Purina HA prescription kibble. Myla would thrive in a committed, structured home with someone who understands hounds and enjoys training. Thank you for considering this special girl.
