Female Dog, Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie
Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie (Long Coat)
Description:
Pebbles is a delightful 5 yr old female Yorkshire Terrier who weighs just under 8 lbs. She’s an incredibly sweet and affectionate companion, already known for being an awesome snuggler who loves to curl up close. Pebbles walks well on a leash and gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, making her a great fit for a home with other pets. In her foster home, she’s making excellent progress with house training and will use pee pads. While Pebbles can be a little hesitant around new people at first, it doesn’t take long for her to warm up—especially if you offer her a gentle scratch under her chin. Pebbles is happiest sleeping in bed with her foster parents and does great throughout the night. The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC, VA and East TN. If you are interested in adopting this dog, contact [email protected]. There is an application process and adoption fee. WE REQUIRE AN ALL-ADULT HOME WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD. The secure fence must be attached to the home, 4 feet or higher with gaps with no larger than 1.5 inches. An invisible fence, enclosed patio or terrace without grass, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. If your fencing has "puppy pickets" (or is supplemented with garden fencing) it needs to be at least 36 inches high from the ground up AT THE LOWEST POINT. No exceptions. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, NC to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines, and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. Adoption Fee: $500
