Meet Rico, the tall drink of water your future selfies have been missing.Rico is a 6-year-old Anatolian mix with legs for days and a “hi, hello, YES I would love to meet you!” attitude for just about everyone he sees. At around 70-ish pounds, he’s a lean, athletic guy who turns heads everywhere he goes and soaks up the compliments like it’s his job.This handsome fellow has quickly become a volunteer favorite for field trips away from the shelter, and it’s easy to see why once you harness him up and head out. He loves hopping in the car, exploring new places, and greeting new friends, making every outing feel like a special event.Rico’s ideal day is simple: a good walk, a little adventure, some quality hangout time with “his” people, and then stretching those long legs out for a nice, relaxing snooze. If you’ve been wishing for a happy, social, ready-for-fun companion to share your days with, come meet Rico—this tall, terrific boy is ready to say hello to you… and you… and you… even you over there…The Haywood County Animal Services Adoption Center is located at 453 Jones Cove Road, Clyde, NC 28721.
