Paulette is a gentle, resilient 4-year-old Hound mix with a heart as big as her story. Just one night before giving birth, she was abandoned—but this brave mama brought six healthy puppies into the world in May 2024 and has been showing us what true strength and love look like ever since. Though shy at first and sensitive to loud noises, Paulette is making amazing progress each day. She blossoms in a calm, patient environment and is looking for a home that will give her the time she needs to feel safe and secure. Why You’ll Love Paulette: Great with other dogs, Cat-friendly! The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
