DeafHyde – A Sweet Senior with So Much Love to Give Hyde is a 9-year-old Cocker Spaniel/Poodle/Maltese mix who weighs 15 pounds. He’s as sweet as they come. Friendly and easygoing, Hyde enjoys the company of other dogs, loves going for leisurely walks, and absolutely adores snuggling up in his cozy bed for a good nap. This well-mannered pup rides well in the car and makes a calm, loving companion. He was recently returned to our care due to a change in his previous owner’s life circumstances. Hyde is now looking for a forever home where he can be loved and cherished. Hyde is deaf and takes daily heart medication, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He’s looking for a loving, peaceful home where he can enjoy his golden years with lots of comfort, companionship, and kindness. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your heart and home, Hyde is ready to meet you. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
