Hi! My name is Karma. I came into the shelter after my previous owner could no longer care for me. I am a large-sized, shy gal who is looking for a patient and loving family. I am apprehensive of unfamiliar people, and due to this I often prefer to come up and greet you myself instead of having people crowd me. My previous owner reported that, once I warm up to you, I am an affectionate and independent pup. My previous owner also reported that I might resource guard my food when I am around other animals so it's recommended that I am fed away from other pets until a safe routine is established and I have had training to help me relax around other pets in a home. I'll need slow, planned, monitored introductions to any other pets (see recommendations for those introductions here). I am a good girl and I deserve a great home where I will be loved.
