Description:
Dodger is a sweet young lady with the most adorable flappy ears. She loves to play tug, chew on her nylabone and going on long walks. She responds well to cues and loves her familar people. Dodger is looking for a home where she can go out for frequent walks (2+ times a day) and then snuggle on the couch with her human afterward. Dodger was found running on a highway in Hartford, Connecticut and eventually found her way in our care. We don't know what she's been through in her short life but it has made her a little nervous with new people and new scenarios. Dodger will need an experienced and patient dog owner who is willing to continue her training and help her exercise her mind and body. Dodger is currently on anxiety medication to help with her transitions. She would prefer to be a solo animal in the household.
