Description:
Dodger is a sweet young lady with the most adorable flappy ears and a big heart to match. She loves to play tug, chew on her Nylabone, and go for long walks. She’s eager to please, responds well to cues, and is especially loving with the people she knows and trusts.Dodger’s ideal home would give her plenty of opportunities to stretch her legs with a few walks each day, followed by some well-earned couch snuggles with her favorite human.Dodger was found running along a highway in Hartford, Connecticut before finding her way into our care. We don’t know much about her past, but it’s clear she’s been through a lot in her short life. Because of that, she can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations. She’ll need an experienced, patient adopter who can continue her training and help her build confidence through structure, exercise, and understanding.Dodger is currently taking anxiety medication to help with transitions, and she would prefer to be the only pet in her home so she can soak up all the attention for herself. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion and you have the time and heart to help her continue to grow, Dodger will reward you with endless love and devotion.Facebook video of Dodger out on a walk! Please apply to adopt at www.TTRRescue.com or email [email protected] with any questions.Adoption ProcessOur adoption process helps match pets with their families.
