On April 1, we received a heartbreaking plea from a concerned family member—sweet Diesel, a 6-year-old Doberman, was being neglected due to his owner’s struggles with addiction. He arrived to us morbidly obese (topping the scale at 130 lbs), unneutered, unvaccinated, and suffering from multiple infections (ears, urinary tract, and even his face). To make matters worse, he also had bladder stones. But just look at him now… Today, Diesel is a lean, healthy 90 lbs and thriving! He’s free of infections and bladder stones, fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and loving life. His transformation has been incredible—and his personality shines just as brightly as his clean bill of health. Diesel is: Incredibly friendly and affectionate A fan of squeaky toys and a good chew during quiet time Dog-friendly and LOVING the fenced yard life for zoomies (we know he is also wonderful off leash- not that we encourage that without training or in general ) Great in the car House-trained, crate-trained, and knows multiple commands He previously lived as an only dog without a yard, but he’s really enjoying dog buddies and outdoor freedom now.
