Female Dog, Labrador Retriever

Labrador Retriever / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Velvet (TX) is a female thought to be Labrador mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Velvet is 4 months old at the time of intake in April 2023. Velvet is good with people and other dogs. At only 4 months old Velvet was living on the streets emaciated with a large prolapse. How does that happen to a puppy? As soon as we heard we swooped in and rushed her to the vet where she got surgery. Velvet's foster reports she is super sweet. Loves to snuggle on the couch, gets along very well with other dogs and loves all humans she meets. She sits stays and walks well on a leash. Loves People and kid friendly. She would love to land in a home where she will be cherished, loved and taken care of. If you think you fit the bill please apply online to adopt Velvet (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
