Male Dog, Labrador Retriever

Labrador Retriever / Hound / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Banjo (AL) is a male Labrador Retriever/Hound mix estimated to be 2 years old at the time of intake in March 2024. Banjo is up to date on core vaccinations, is microchipped and will be neutered prior to joining his forever home unless there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time). Banjo is good with people and other dogs. This handsome boy was found emaciated and suffering from a painful skin infection that has ravaged his body. If that wasn't sad enough, Banjo had a rusty tie out wire attached to his collar. We don't know his story, but we're happy that he somehow got free from that wire that tied him to a horrific life. Banjo is at our veterinary partner where he will receive all the medical care he requires, and then he will go on to the next chapter in his life. And this one will have a happy ending. Banjo is friendly and incredibly sweet. If you can give Banjo his happy ever after life, please apply online to adopt Banjo (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter. .
