Male Dog, Pomeranian

Pomeranian / Mixed (Long Coat)

Description:

The Kramer family has chosen to sponsor the costs of transport and medical care for the 17 Walworth dogs as a Christmas gift in honor of all our fur babies we have lost over the years and all my friends' fur babies that have also crossed the Rainbow Bridge - none will ever be forgotten. Our Christmas wish is that each of the Walworth-furred ones find loving homes where they are cherished. Merry Christmas sweet Pups! Love, Cheryl, Dave, Ryan, and Cassie Kramer Cowboy was born around December 4, 2019 and weighs about 15 pounds. Joyful received a message asking for help in the Rochester area with a home that had 30 dogs. The humans started taking in dogs that no one wanted and after a few years, they became overwhelmed and asked for help. Cowboy is just a teensy bit shy at first but then quickly becomes a happy, kissy, lover! Cowboy rides well in the car and walks fine on a leash. You will have some work to do on house training and we often suggest potty pads for tiny dogs with tiny bladders. Cowboy is wonderful with all of the other dogs and is an absolute joy! Sadly, he does have too much interest in live with any. Foster mom update: Cowboy is a very happy boy who came right into our yard, introduced himself to the other dogs here, and was ready to play.He loves to run around the yard with them playing with their toys and chasing each other. He does bark a little bit when outside, at what we don't know but its not too much. He is wonderful with the humans here to.He follows us around and loves it when we come outside and play with him. He's a nice lap dog but will also pick out a dog bed and take a nap in it.Preferably close to his human. He loves to go for walks and gets excited and dances around when he sees the leash come out.The potty training has been figured out. When he first arrived there was some marking going on so out came the belly band! After a week or so that seemed to stop and he is now using the potty pads or going outside. He is very good for his baths. He is a little whiney for car rides but after a few minutes settles down. As I write this I look down and Cowboy is resting by me with another one of the dogs here. He is a good boy who would like a home of his own and he will make someone very happy. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $600.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability.
