Meet Lady Lady is a petite 5‑year‑old miniature poodle weighing just 9 pounds, and she’s ready to finally enjoy retirement the right way. After a lifetime of breeding, Lady has officially hung up her mom hat and is now looking for a forever home where she can live as the true Lady of the House—because honestly, she’s earned it! Lady has a big personality packed into her tiny frame. She can be a bit of a boss with the other dogs and isn’t shy about making sure everyone behaves appropriately—no shenanigans allowed! That said, when Lady decides it’s playtime, she is all in. She zooms and chases around the yard like a puppy, loves her toys, and is especially fond of chewing on her cow hoof. When she’s finished ruling the yard, Lady’s favorite pastime is curling up on a cozy little bed for a nice, long nap. She is sweet, affectionate, and enjoys being comfortable and close to her people. Lady truly appreciates the calmer moments in life and would love a home where she can relax, be adored, and enjoy the good life. Lady is crate trained but would also do well being gated in a safe space. She is making great progress with house‑training and will use cloth potty pads when needed. At this time, Lady is not leash trained, so a fully fenced yard (no invisible fences) is required for her safety. She does not like wearing a collar and has been known to try to chew them off—something her future family should be aware of and prepared to work through patiently. She does just fine with the cats in her foster home and has no issues coexisting with them. Lady also takes her role as household watch dog very seriously and will happily alert you to squirrels, passing critters, or anything she deems suspicious. She may be little, but she has a big bark to prove she means business! Lady has been professionally groomed and will require regular grooming to keep her looking fabulous. She’s ready for a home where she’s treated like the special girl she is—loved, respected, and maybe even a little spoiled. Lady would love a home that: Appreciates a confident, sassy‑sweet personality Has a secure, fully fenced yard Is patient with continued house‑training and leash work Is committed to regular grooming and pampering Lady has waited a long time for this next chapter, and she’s ready to spend the rest of her life being cherished like the queen she was always meant to be.
