Louie is the Bulldog x Chihuahua mystery mash up! A five year old eighteen pound loaf of love who looks like someone mixed tough guy energy with a potato and added a sprinkle of soft boi sweetness. Friendly gentle calm and extremely committed to cuddling this little nugget is ready to charm his forever family. Louie’s ideal day is simple: Lap time, naps, bone chewing and more naps. He is a low energy king who will lounge beside you while supervising your life like a tiny security guard with a toy bone. He’s a great eater, loves a treat and lives for affection and getting pets. He’s amazing with kids and is currently besties with his foster’s eleven year old daughter. He has also met her friends and after a few shy seconds he warms up and is their best friend too! Louie is a pro with wee wee pads and is working on getting comfortable outdoors again after coming from a home where he spent too much time inside (he was an owner surrender). He’s practicing short walks from the front of the house to the back and sometimes prefers to sit like a stubborn baked potato but he’s getting braver every day. He walks nicely on a leash and does not tug. He’s also practicing crate time and learning that the crate can be a cozy safe place! Meeting new people street or home he starts a little shy then quickly becomes everyone’s number one fan. Louie’s dream home is one full of people who will adore him give him attention and let him snuggle on laps and beds. He’s calm, sweet and incredibly loving and he will make someone so unbelievably happy. Louie is up for adoption and ready to be your quirky cuddle buddy for life!
