POV: You just met Brie! Hi, I’m Brie, a gorgeous one year old yellow lab mix weighing in at 70 pounds. I may look like a big girl, but I’m really just a goofy puppy at heart. When I first got to my foster home, I wasn’t so sure about walks or meeting new dogs or even being left alone. But guess what? I’ve been working hard and I’m getting better every single day. Now I walk calmly on leash, I don’t try to chase every bird or squirrel I see, and I’ve learned that the crate is actually a cozy safe spot to nap. I’m house trained, smart, and very food motivated (so training me is easy). I love to show off my favorite trick, giving my paw whenever I feel proud of myself or want a little extra attention. Speaking of attention, that’s my favorite thing in the whole world… well, attention and snacks. I’m still learning how to be a little more independent when left alone, but with patience and love I know I’ll keep improving. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and loyal best friend who will happily join you for long walks and cuddle up after, I’m your girl. I am spayed and fully vetted too!
