He's a sweet chihuaha/dashund mix weighing about 17 pounds. Pierre is very cuddly and loves his people but does take a bit to trust. He is not a morning dog and likes to get out of bed. in his own time. When he's ready, he walks great on leash. He loves being around people. Pierre would love a house with older children (or no children) and where he is the only dog to get all the attention. He would need a home where his human is home most of the time, as he gets a little nervous when being left a lone. He is not a fan of being left in the crate and prefers the comfort of his human when sleeping. Pierre will need a patient home who will let him come out of his shell in his own time. Remember, most of the time rescues are all just taking our best guess with breeds!- SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog.**- MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed by one of our adoption processors.- APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email.
