Female Dog, Shepherd

Shepherd / Mixed

Description:

*Name: Jamie*Age: approx 8 years old*Current Weight: 45 pounds*Rescued from: Texas*Adoption fee: $300*Health: Up to date on vaccines, spayed, & microchipped*Adoption requirements: Adopter must be 25 or older, no catsMeet Jamie! This girl is shepherd mix and is absolutely beautiful! She is a larger dog and has beautiful coloring and such cute expressions! We love her big smile! we think Jamie is a wonderful age- not too young and not too old... an adult with some wisdom behind her :) Jamie was rescued from an overcrowded Houston shelter and she was very shut down ans so terrified! SNARR was asked to help jamie and we said yes! Jamie is a sweet and shy girl. She has fallen in love with the staff at our adoption center and once she gets to know people, she warms up to trust and is then your bestie :) Jamie loves to hang out in the yard with volunteers and get her head scratched. Jamie clings to people she knows and seeks to follow around anyone she attaches to, so if you're looking for a loyal best friend, she is perfect for you! Jamie is such a fun loving girl who had a rough start to life but she is flourishing and our adoption center staff love her! She does well with other dogs but we always suggest a meet and greet when possible if there is another dog in the home. Jamie is currently located at our adoption center in Brewster, NY and is looking for a special family who will give her the chance to blossom in a home where she is spoiled and loved. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILINGAll adoption fees are non-refundableIf paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals. Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing:LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records.SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. **MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors.APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application.
