Skylar, along with his baby Mama Foxy (formerly Roxy), came to us when their previous owner could no longer care for them. Mom, dad, and their two pups were brought to us through a diverted placement, bypassing the shelter entirely—a crucial step given how shelters are overcrowded with long waitlists of people trying to surrender their pets. To keep them from ever stepping paw inside, they made their way safely to us. Currently in a foster home near Binghamton, Skylar is a BIG boy, weighing in at around 80-90 pounds. He gets along well with female dogs and is working on coexisting peacefully with cats. Skylar is both housebroken and crate trained, and he even understands commands in Spanish—what a smart pup! Skylar is a gentle giant who loves attention and playtime. We’re giving him all the time he needs to settle in so we can find the most suitable forever home for this lovable boy. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.
