Female Dog, Husky

Husky / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Where are our husky people? Delgado, a stunning 1-year-old husky mix, is searching for a committed foster who can give her the stability and understanding she’s been missing. She came to us from Staten Island ACC after being found as a stray and heartbreakingly returned to the shelter twice. Through it all, she’s stayed sweet, affectionate, and eager to please. Delgado is smart, loyal, and ready to thrive with someone who knows how special huskies truly are. She’s not a fan of the crate or sharing food (we’re working on it!), but with time and patience, she’s showing what a loving and resilient girl she is. Delgado’s Ideal Home: Husky-savvy foster who understands the breed’s energy and intelligence Patient person to help her work through separation anxiety Calmer environment — older kids (13+) recommended Best as the only pet for now (she’s met cats and was curious but respectful!) Currently in a temporary foster home in Binghamton, NY, Delgado urgently needs a long-term foster to help her feel secure and continue to grow into the amazing companion we know she can be. Can you be Delgado’s hero?
