Description:

Meet Chara – the Ultimate Snuggle Queen! At just 2 years old, Chara has already shown what it means to be a survivor. Once abandoned and left to fend for herself, this brave mama’s story has turned into one of hope, healing, and second chances. Now safe and thriving in her Vermont foster home, Chara has fully embraced her inner house hippo — heavy on the snores, big on the snuggles, and happiest when she’s curled up beside you. She’s a loving, gentle girl who adores people and other dogs (no cats, please!) and would make the perfect cozy companion for quiet evenings or lazy Sundays at home. Chara’s ready to trade her foster bed for her forever couch — could it be yours? All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
