Female Dog, Great Pyrenees

Great Pyrenees (Long Coat)

Description:

*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Meet Luna, a sweet young Great Pyrenees girl with a heart as bright as her beautiful name! This affectionate pup is currently in boarding and would love nothing more than to find her foster or forever home where she can share all her love. Luna may be a little shy when you first say hello, but she quickly warms up to reveal her true personality—bouncy, joyful, and overflowing with kisses! With big puppy energy that keeps her tail wagging happily, Luna is learning the ropes of leash walking and absolutely adores rolling around in the grass for belly rubs (bonus points if you admire her gorgeous tail while you're at it!). She came into rescue with her brother and shares a pen with him, showing her gentle, submissive nature with other dogs. Luna will need a 5-foot fence to keep her safe while she enjoys her outdoor adventures. If you're looking for a loving companion who will brighten your days with her sweet spirit and playful antics, Luna is ready to bounce her way into your heart! If you call or e-mail you are reducing your chances of adopting this animal as we direct our time and energy to first serving those who apply. NYS Registered Non-Profit Rescue # RR102. National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) has been rescuing and adopting out Great Pyrenees since 2006. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
