Female Dog, Great Pyrenees

Great Pyrenees (Long Coat)

Description:

Meet Coral: The Smiling Great Pyrenees Ready to Steal Your Heart! Coral is a gorgeous, Great Pyrenees girl, with a soft, medium-length coat that’s growing out beautifully. She’s a bundle of happiness, always wagging her tail and flashing her signature smile to everyone she meets. Coral’s journey began with heartbreak—she and her family were abandoned, but thanks to caring rescuers, she’s now safe and loving life! This sweet girl is comfortable in the house, loves her crate, explores new rooms with confidence, and even hops right into the car for adventures. She enjoys being brushed, and pedicures—she’s a dream to care for! Coral is eager to please, sits for treats, walks nicely on a leash, and absolutely loves being petted. She’ll gently nudge her way to the front for attention and affection! Coral is a social butterfly with other dogs, playfully bowing and running with pups of all sizes, both males and females. She will thrive in a home with a playful canine brother, a secure 5-foot fence, and even a dog-savvy cat. She hasn’t been around children yet, but her gentle, friendly nature suggests she’d be a wonderful companion for kids. She’s ready for a loving family who will shower her with treats, provide a big fluffy bed, and offer plenty of attention and love. If you’re looking for a sweet, happy, and playful companion who will fill your home with joy and smiles, Coral is the girl for you! National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) has been rescuing and adopting out Great Pyrenees since 2006. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
