Female Dog, American Pit Bull Terrier
American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Candy is an adult female Pit Bull Terrier Mix. She weighs about 44 lbs. Candy came in covered with ticks. It took a long time to get them all off of her, but during the entire process, she was very sweet and patient. She is a wonderful girl who is gentle and loves to snuggle. Candy seems to be housebroken and so far seems good with other dogs. Candy is currently at the Shelter - she will be spayed prior to adoption. Here is the adoption process: To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $60 fee for any animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier. Thank you for considering a homeless animal.
