Hello! My name is Morticia, and I'm a beautiful, unique mixed-breed dog, currently one year and four months old. I weigh a solid 69 pounds and would thrive in a home that appreciates a dog of my stature.My time here at the shelter has been a bit challenging, and as a result, I've developed some specific sensitivities and habits. I am particularly sensitive to loud noises, which can sometimes startle me. Additionally, I am quite shy and nervous when people approach my kennel to greet me. New environments and unfamiliar faces make me feel uneasy, and I tend to retreat or show my anxiety in these situations.What I need most is a very patient, understanding, and committed guardian. I am looking for someone who is willing to dedicate the necessary time and effort to help me work through the obstacles I am currently facing. This means introducing me to new experiences slowly, respecting my need for space, and using positive reinforcement to build my confidence.With gentle guidance and a consistent, loving environment, I am confident that I can overcome my shyness and noise sensitivity. I have so much love to give and am eager to bond deeply with a person or family who will see past my initial nervousness and recognize the loyal, sweet companion I am waiting to become.Morticiaâs adoption fee is $100.
