Meet Penelope – Professional Lap Dog (in Training) If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a dog who believes she was meant to live in your lap… allow us to introduce Penelope. She is fully convinced she is a lap dog and will attempt to prove this theory at every available opportunity. Your personal space? Optional. Penelope is wildly interested in other dogs and thinks everyone she sees is a potential new best friend, but we recommend a meet and greet to make sure they vibe. She’s super treat-motivated and will gladly work for snacks — honestly, snacks are her love language. When it comes to toys and balls, Penelope lives for the chase… but the return part of fetch? That’s not in her job description. Expect dramatic zoomies, joyful prancing, and random bursts of “I have no brakes!” energy.She is still learning her manners and could use some basic training, especially on leash. She does pull, but a harness helps her walk much more politely — or at least politely enough.
