Meet Lily – A True Gentle SoulLily is a 5-year-old spayed female Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. Her family sadly had to surrender her because they worked too much and wanted her to have the time and attention she truly deserves.This lovely girl is calm, gentle, and mellow—content to spend her days soaking up affection, getting those all-important booty scratches, and exploring the world with her curious nose. She knows her manners, too—sit, stay, and no are all part of her vocabulary.Lily’s previous family shared that she is housetrained, crate trained, and loves car rides. She’s had some training and was friendly with adults, children, and dogs—but she does like to chase cats, so a feline-free home would be best.Because she can be a bit forward when meeting new dogs, a meet-and-greet is recommended. She would also do best with kids 12 and up who can appreciate her gentle but sensitive nature.
